Parvez Elahi demands level-playing field for PTI candidates


 Former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi, currently in Adiala Jail, called for an end to the mass arrests of PTI leaders and workers. During a meeting with his lawyers Sardar Abdul Razzaq Khan and Chaudhry Shamshad Malhi, he emphasized the need for a fair playing field for PTI candidates in the upcoming general elections.

Sources revealed that the discussion with his lawyers focused on legal matters and the electoral strategy of PTI. Parvez Elahi commented on the Supreme Court's judgment regarding the Election Commission of Pakistan's appeal, stating that all attempts to delay the general elections had ceased after the court's decision.

The PTI's Punjab chapter president expressed the party's desire for fair and timely elections in the country. He reiterated the call for an end to the ongoing campaign against PTI leaders and workers. Parvez Elahi also mentioned having devised a legal strategy to contest seats in the national and provincial assemblies in the upcoming elections.
