– The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has been sued by a lady in the Sindh High Court for allegedly having three of her son's mothers listed on file.
Umar Raza, a 17-year-old child from Sindh, has three women listed as his mother on file, and his mother has filed a suit against Nadra before the SHC for this mistake. It is important to note that this boy's parents were no longer together.
The boy's mother name section included three names, according to the plaintiff's attorney. The names of his stepmother and grandmother had been added to the document's mother name section, which might cause issues down the road.
Nadra has been given notice by the court to provide a response.
